Any sponsors?
Powertrix (http://www.powertrix.com) I don't have many more sponsors. I had some, they sucked. Powertrix makes awesome parts. My friends help me out; they are always at events changing tires, fixing broken crap, or pushing the car when it doesn't run. They are great. If you are intrested in sponsoring me, please email me.
When and how did you get into drifting and/or other motor sports?
I used to be really into mountain racing and auto-x. I knew I was getting my parents old Nissan Altima. So I was a big Nissan fan. While searching for Nissan racing videos on the internet, I found drifting. This was in 1997 or 1998 I think. I started going to auto-x around 14. I also had been to a few go-kart tracks, I really like it because I can push it there, and while being timed, see what driving styles work for me. I went to a lot of birthday parties at go-kart tracks. I was really into making fast times, while everyone else just played bumper cars. I started going to every motorsport event I could. I went to all the car shows, drag races, track events. I couldn't get enough.
What was the first car you used for drifting?
The Altima? I'm not sure. I slid it around in the rain a few times. Maybe my truck, I used to offroad a lot, and we would set up course's SCORE style and try and have the fastest time. It was almost like a rally race, as we would have a lot of sharp turns. Naturally the truck would slide most turns.
How did it work out for you?
Okay I guess its how I got into the sport. But it got me hooked, and this sport is EXPENSIVE!
What was your most practiced technique?
E-Brake, Braking drift.
What is it now?
Feint drifting or clutch kicking
Where are you looking to improve?
My lines are awful.
What types of events have you participated in?
Drift Circuit, Drift Day, Private events
What type of events have you competed in?
Going for Formula D this year, and DDComps are fun. I also want to shoot for my D1 liscense, but I don't think Im ready for that.
What do you find challenging?
Meeting females who put up with the "car life"
Who are your influences?
Not sure, Family and friends
What modifications would you like to have in the future?
I HAVE to get a diff. I had one in my old 240sx, and it was a lot easier. Ill get one this month. My stock KA rocks, so I'm going to spend it on nice coilovers and
What are your future plans in drifting?
Get all the track time I can. Street drifting is sketchy, and the track has way better conditions. I also am making my own parts. They are better then most of the other stuff that's out there, and easier to get.
What are your thoughts on the future of drifting?
I think it will get big here in 2006-2007, and then it will die. But I will always do it. I want it to get to the level it is in Japan, with rival teams and such. Right now there are maybe 8-10 decent drivers in the area I live in(that I know of). I would like it to be a well known sport.
Anything else you would like us to know about you?
Looking for sponsors!
