When and how did you get into drifting and/or other motor sports?
I was 17 and my dad bought me a 88 Toyota MR2 and I started off with just doing powerovers in parking lots an started liking the feeling of the back sliding out so, from then on it was watching drift bible an trying the things he talked about when he was in the red Levin.

What was the first car you used for drifting?
I used to pull the e-brake in my first car (Honda CRX) but when it got stolen my dad got me a 88 MRr2 an I drifted it until it broke down.

How did it work out for you?
It was fun but the first gen mr2s have madd crazy understeer. My first 240sx was auto and had an open diff so that was even harder to drift but I got it done.

What was your most practiced technique?
e-brake, j-turns, and then I moved on to powerover and clutch kick.

What is it now?
I would have to say feint drifts and shift lock.

Where are you looking to improve?
High speed drifting and maybe improve my weight transferring.

What types of events have you participated in?
I don’t really have time for events but I did go to drift day 7 or 8 (I don’t remember which). I mostly set up cones in parking lots where there are no cars and just practice there until I’m kicked out or my tires go bad.

What type of events have you competed in?
None as of yet but I’m looking forward to the next event that comes.

What do you find challenging?
Finding time to go out and drift. I have a really busy life; I work 6 days a week and I go to school 3 nights a week so I don’t really get to practice much.

Who are your influences?
My friends, my dad, and the people that push me to try harder when I wanna give up.

What modifications would you like to have in the future?
I’m not sure, ummmm.. maybe a better LSD. I have a Nismo 2way but it feels like a VLSD cuz I have never changed the diff oil. But as of right now I have everything I need.

What are your future plans in drifting?
More events and maybe a comp.

What are your thoughts on the future of drifting?
I think it will be around longer than street racing because there’s a lot more events for drifting than there is for drag racing. I’m just hoping that it doesn’t get blown up to the point that they make it outlawed or something stupid like that.

Anything else you would like us to know about you?
Umm… lets see nothing really much to say but check out a friend of mines shop, he imports parts from Japan for all types of cars and his prices are good. http://www.pandagarage.com
