When and how did you get into drifting and/or other motor sports?
I got into autox back in 2000 with my 1992 Camaro. Since then I've continued to autox just about anything I can get the keys to. I've yet to attend a drift event, but by the years out, I will have.
What was the first car you used for drifting?
My Integra GSR spent a lot of time sideways at the autox's. Type R rear sway bar on a stock GSR suspension
How did it work out for you?
It was a lot of fun and it lead me to the AE86
What was your most practiced technique?
Braking drift
What is it now?
Working on ebrake more
Where are you looking to improve?
Transitioning
What types of events have you participated in?
Autox's and HDPE'ss
What type of events have you competed in?
Autox's
What do you find challenging?
Each one has their difficulties
Who are your influences?
Dan Chadwick, Jeremy Schuster, Taka Aono, and Alex Pfeffier
What modifications would you like to have in the future?
Add more adjustability to the suspension and more power
What are your future plans in drifting?
Setup my own local events and attend out of town events
What are your thoughts on the future of drifting?
I see it growing to a head and then falling out of favor leaving the true enthusiasts
Anything else you would like us to know about you?
I truly prefer grip to drifting, I see drifting as a way to improve my grip driving skills. Drifting is a lot of fun, but I get more of an adrenaline rush from a fast grip run.
